Whatever the reason you visit Polperro - the beautiful cliff walks, the historic narrow streets & cottages or the picturesque Polperro harbour, once you've visited, you know you'll be coming back for more. Polperro is one of the most popular holiday destinations on the South coast of Cornwall & a great holiday destination for all the family. A wide range of Polperro holiday accommodation is available, including hotels, apartments, guest houses & holiday cottages. Many of the holiday cottages are situated right on Polperro harbour, with fabulous views from many rooms. There are also other Polperro holiday cottages tucked away in the charming backstreets, but none are far from the centre of this picturesque fishing village. The Warren & The Quay are the areas with the most holiday cottages, with hotel, guest house & bed and breakfast accommodation mostly situated slightly back from Polperro harbour.

If it's a pub or restaurant you're looking for in Polperro, you'll be spoilt for choice. As you'd expect in an old fishing village, There are plenty of Polperro pubs & restaurants to choose from. At the top of the village is the Crumplehorn Inn. The Crumplehorn is the first restaurant & pub on your left as you enter Polperro - you can't miss it. In addition to the pub & restaurant, the Crumplehorn offers a wide range of accommodation, with bed & breakfast rooms & holiday apartments available. There is also regular live music to entertain you during your stay.

As you then travel down the Coombes, towards Polperro harbour, you'll find the Claremont Hotel on your left. The Claremont offers a great range of ensuite accommodation, & a secure parking area directly opposite the hotel. Just past the Claremont on the left you will find Somewhere Tapistro, providing a popular mix of Tapas & bistro food for you to enjoy. Almost directly opposite Somewhere Tapistro you will find a turning onto Mill Hill. Follow Mill Hill for a few yards over the small bridge & you will come to the Old Millhouse Inn. The Old Millhouse Inn offers a spacious bar area, choice of dining areas, gardens & 7 ensuite bedrooms.

Further on down the Coombes, the street narrows & as you turn right at the post office, you'll discover Nelsons Restaurant on your left, opposite Big Green. There are also other pubs, restaurants, hotels to choose from.

As you approach Polperro harbour, you'll find the charming House On Props. With views over the harbour, this is a quaint old building that is literally supported by props, right on the river Pol that runs through the centre of Polperro. Then go along Polperro Quay & you'll find the Three Pilchards & the Blue Peter - the last pub before France. The Three Pilchards is the oldest pub in Polperro, with a full range of ales & bar meals & plenty of live music to choose from. It also has a new terrace with wonderful views overlooking Polperro harbour.

The Blue Peter has some of the best views of any pub or restaurant in Polperro, being situated right on the end on the quay, with views of the waves crashing on Peak Rock out of one window & views of the picturesque inner harbour of Polperro through the other windows. A great range of ales & lagers are on offer & you can enjoy food lunchtime or evening from their excellent menu. In addition to the bar area, there's also a restaurant upstairs, again with lovely views over Polperro harbour.

If you turn the wrong way after a few beers in the Blue Peter, you'll end up swimming in Polperro harbour!

If you're looking for something special to see & do in Polperro, you can also enjoy one of our fabulous Polperro boat trips. Departing from the quay, just past the Blue Peter pub, the boat trips can take you on a half hour trip along the coast or a longer boat trip to Looe or Fowey.
